At
last, a safe, simple, secure way to haul your motorcycle in a pickup,
van or a trailer. Whether you own a race bike, a sportbike or a Harley, you need a "Slik Stand" to haul your bike.
Keyhole shaped slots
in the bottom of the chock portion of the "Slik Stand"
make installing or removing it a 30 second task once the hardware
has been installed in the floor of the transporting vehicle. Simply
attach the "Slik Stand" to the floor, roll your bike into
place and attach tie downs (not included) to the cross bar and to
the motorcycle. Then haul your motorcycle to where the fun is! The
"Slik Stand" eliminates the need for "D" rings
or tie down points anywhere else.
The "Slik Stand"
makes a great work tool too! Use it to hold your bike upright and
stable for simple maintenance or major repairs. Attach either wheel
of your bike to the "Slik Stand" and the end of the motorcycle
not attached can be raised as needed by jacking or any other safe
means of lifting.
PREVENT THEFT! Once
the "Slik Stand" is attached to your pickup, van, or garage
floor you can easily lock your motorcycle to it by running a chain
or cable through the loop welded to the front of the "shoe"
and the wheel of the motorcycle.

QUESTION: is it possible to put two stands side by side in the back of a dodge ram for twoo sportbikes. |
ANSWER: If there is room for the 2 bikes, there should be room for the Slik Stands. The crossbar is 36" wide with the chock mounted in the center of each.
Additional holes can be drilled in the crossbar to allow the chock to be moved sideways if necessary.

QUESTION: I have a F150 truck, do I really need to drill the back off my bed to carry my bike in the back.
Or can I just use tie downs? |
ANSWER: To be most effective, the Slik Stand should be bolted down. Otherwise it can move around if the tie downs should lose their tension. Another option is to mount the Slik Stand to a sheet of 3/4" or 1" plywood cut to fit your bed and then use additional tie downs to anchor the bike to the pickup.
We offer the Slik Nuts for pickup beds and metal floor applications. They are user friendly and are very non-intrusive. Easy to install and should you ever decide to sell the pickup , remove them and fill the holes with plastic or metal snap-in caps available at your local hardware store. |

QUESTION: I have a trailer with 5/8 flywood floor over a metal frame. Does the stand need to be mounted through the frame or just through the plywood between the frame members? What would you recommend, and what type of fasteners would you use? Bikes are HD Road Kings |
